Surgery

LUMIX® SURGERY DUAL Dental is the surgical laser that allows 2 actions in a single device: cut and coagulation.

Using the contact mode fiber, LUMIX®SURGERY DUAL Dental is the evolution of the common blade, with unique particulars like biostimulation and analgesia.

LUMIX® SURGERY DUAL Dental is an innovative high power multidiode laser with C.P.S.® (Continuous, Pulsed and Superpulsed) emission that performs effective photobiostimulation in the Dental field.

The multiwavelength of LUMIX® SURGERY DUAL Dental, the high peak power (100W) and the high average powers that reache 31W allow for a large volumetric treatments with high amount of energy deep into tissues. This guarantees a particularly high tissue penetration and a fast therapy with exceptional results.

The pluses of the therapeutic mode:

SURGERY

GINGIVECTOMY

Surgical removal of the gingival tissue to create a new gingival margin. The laser favours cicatrization, vaporises the tissue and leaves the operating field bloodless.

GINGIVOPLASTY

Remodelling of gums and restoration of physiologic gingival morphology. The gingival profile can be modelled with the laser.

FRENECTOMY

Partial removal of the frenulum (muscular and fibrous tissue lined by mucous membrane).

OPERCULECTOMY

Removal of a portion of the mucous membrane that is often found on an eruptive wisdom tooth.

INCISION

Less painful operation for the patient. With its antibacterial power, the laser reduces the risk of post-operative infections.

ELONGATION OF THE CLINICAL CROWN

Operation that enables vaporisation of the flap and removal of the entire part around the bone margin without damaging it.

HEMOSTASIS

Immediate cicatrization with the laser, avoiding the onset of small haemorrhages.

SURGICAL OPERATIONS FOR THE REMOVAL OF NEOFORMATIONS

Easy removal and surgical excision of benign lesions of soft tsisues, such as fibroids, epulids, etc.

CORRECTION OF GINGIVAL MORPHOLOGY

Removing or resizing of papillae present in the oral cavity. The laser desensitises the area to be treated and then vaporises the tissue.

ENDODONTICS

RADICULAR CHANNEL DECONTAMINATION

The laser increases the decontaminating power of common canal irrigants, helping to increase the success rate of treatment, even with a one-visit method.

PULPOTOMY

Removal of cameral pulp that can be performed in dental elements with immature apices with severe cariosis to aid the process of apex structuring.

PERIODONTITIS

Thanks to its decontaminating effect, the laser enables quick and rapid decontamination of the gingival pocket.

GINGIVAL POCKETS

The laser makes the treatment of periodontal pockets easier and less invasive. Thanks to its decontaminating power, it is possible to solve most periodontal problems non-surgically.

IMPLANTOLOGY

SURGICAL IMPLANTS

There is no bleeding with the laser, which makes it possible to look for the cover screw through a small incision which, after exact localisation, is expanded according to need.

PERIIMPLANTITIS

The laser has a decontaminating and anti-inflammatory action, favouring healing processes.

PRE-IMPRESSION PROSTHESES AND SULCUS

Operations to condition the sulcus and take the impression in the same session can be made with the laser, thanks to its ability to coagulate.

POST ORAL SURGERY

The laser reduces the inflammatory and infectious components of perimplantitis. It speeds osseointegration times in both dental implants and in operations (consolidation of biomaterials) for bone regeneration and reduces post-operative edemas in extraction surgery. It can be used either immediately after an operation as a preventive measure or after some time to reduce present edemas. It is also used for the treatment of mandibular paresthesia.

PERIODONTOLOGY

It is recommended for the treatment of gingivitis and of periodontal pockets, it improves tissue compliance in mucogingival surgery in general and in grafts in particular, in the donor site and recipient site.

ENDODONTICS

Effective as an analgesic after endodontic treatment, as an anti-edemigen, it reduces reparative times of periapical tissue.

ORAL PATHOLOGY

Speed up healing times of infectious of mucous membranes with decontaminating action (aphthous lesions, labial herpes, herpetic angular cheilitis, lichen planus) or traumatic lesions.

TMJ DISEASE

It is recommended for the treatment of painful syndromes, as an intra and extracapsular antiphlogistic.

DENTINE DESENSITIZATION

Indicated for treatment combined with fluoride gel to increase and prolong the desensitizing effect.

An interactive technology

LUMIX® SURGERY DUAL Dental is an extremely versatile and intuitive laser, allows easy control of energy dosage through automatic modulation

The interface of LUMIX® SURGERY DUAL Dental displays the parameters on a large touch-screen 4.3” display that remotely reads and gives the operator the complete control of the correct device performance.

Therapeutic handpiece with interchangeable terminal with SMA connector

With LUMIX® SURGERY DUAL Dental the surgical optic fiber handpiece and the therapeutic handpiece with interchangeable terminal between zoom and fiber terminal are supplied.
